I was planning to do an invasion assay today and thus coated my inserts yesterday, but unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, I cannot proceed. The next time that I can do the experiment would be in a week's time. I would like to ask if it's okay to store the coated inserts in 37C then use them next week? Or is it better to store in 4C?

You can store the inserts in cell culture plates like 24-well plate for weeks at room temperature without any problem.

Storage of Matrigel® Coated Plates
Coated plates can be stored at 2-8 °C for up to one week (sealed with Parafilm™ to prevent dehydration) before use. Make sure that the fridge shelf is level as well. We do not recommend using plates that have areas of uneven Matrigel® coating or plates where the Matrigel® has evaporated.

I agree with Alexandr Chernov - if your inserts are already coated, it is best to protect them and store in the fridge!
