I've prepared a few qPCR plates with SYBR green master mix I from roche. But I won't be able to run them until next week (3-4 days) due to some technical difficulties. What is the best way of preserving the plates?

Best way to seal the plate completely with aluminium foil and keep at 4C. I think you can keep plate with master mix for 3-4 days without any problem. You can add the calibrator into one of the wells to see if there is any effect of storage.

The link mentione above is for 1-2 hours, not days.
You will need to seal your plate well because evaporation may take effect.
Not ideal to make the reaction and do it few days later, unless you are running of the reagent and you really need that result.

(Should you be in that situation again, consider freezing the plate (at least -4*C) rather than fridge storage as it may be more stable this way.
