I'm currently autoclaving boxes of pipette tips weekly. I use them every day, so the boxes are constantly being opened and closed. How long can I reasonably expect them to stay sterile?

So if sterile is important, you need to sterilize it before use, or you can divide the pipette tips into sections in the same amount you will use and also wrap them in aluminum foil.
