It is known that DRV is a competitive process relative to DRX. In fact, DRV uses dislocations which if can accumulate, DRX process triggers. So, how it can be explained that temperature rise or strain rate decrease (or decrease in Z parameter) can help both competitive processes. I work on a steel that lowering Z parameter leads to more obvious DRX sign, i.e. the single peak, and further decrease results in multiple peaks.
