I am writing regarding GATE.
Indeed, I wish to find a solution of the following problem:
I realise, on GATE, the bombardment of electrons on an aluminium volume and I wish to collect the primary and secondary charges (e+, e-, alpha, proton) that moving towards bloc’s exit. The objective of the experience is to measure an electrical current created by the electron beam on the bloc, by means of an electronic circuit (connected with the volume).
How can I do it which is a realistic as possible? What are the different tools that I use to success my objective?
In order to realise this computer simulation, I use the fluenceActor whose the output is a “.raw” folder. I wish to read this folder by Matlab but I don’t understand how I can treat these folders. For example, I obtain these followings values. I wish to have a physical interpretation of these results.

Maybe I get the question wrong but I would simply measure the current between the electron source and the aluminum block with a muli- or amperemeter (depending on how accurate you want your results to be).
