Can you recommend an equation to predict the maximum slide thickness in function of the propagation distance, slope angle and slide properties?

We would like to predict the maximum slide thickness at a particular location along a laboratory slope from an initially triangular-shaped dry granular slide released as a dam break. Can you recommend an easy applicable empirical or analytical model or equation for the maximum slide thickness in function of the propagation distance, slope angle, grain sizes and the internal and basal friction angles?
