I am currently conducting a systematic review using multiple databases. Each database has it own syntax of search strategies. For example, in PubMed and Web of Science databases, there are no option to limit your search to "titles, abstracts and keywords". Embase and Scopus specifically have these three elements "titles, abstracts and keywords".
My question is, is it acceptable to use the "ALL FIELDS" for PubMed and Wed of Science and just "TITLES, ABSTRACTS AND KEYWORDS" for Embase and Scopus in ONE systematic literature review? I am afraid that limiting my search to just "TITLES AND ABSTRACTS" for PubMed and Web of Science without the "KEYWORDS" would miss more relevant articles.
I understand that this makes my search strategies inconsistent. Is this acceptable?
Thank you in advance.
