My current College of Business is not accredited but is considering an attempt to become accredited. However, in 10 years no student has ever asked me about accreditation and only one parent ever asked me about it. The college is growing about 35% a year, so accreditation doesn't seem necessary. We are a "Teaching" college, not research. I'd like to hear your experiences and thoughts on this topic. Thanks!

Most important; students might pretend and not ask but they know. Field-respected or quality faculty would leave without the AACSB and business around such an environment would definitely not respect the college. Everything is perception.
