In the preparation of silver nanoparticles using plant extract, plant leaf is boiled in deionized water and filtered through Whatman No.1 filter paper. The filtrate is stored for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles. But, after storing three to four days precipitate developed. How can I prevent this precipitation or shall I filter again the solution for further use in the synthesis of silver nanoparticles?

as you are boiling the whole leaf, you are extracting pretty much everything soluble at 100ºC (that may not be soluble at lower temperatures). If none of the compounds of interest precipitate you can safely discarded the precipitate; but if you want to keep it, redissolve it by heating the solution until full dissolution prior to the synthesis of the nanoparticles.
