I have a photochemical reactor where in a H2O2 solution is activated by an UV-C (254nm) lamp. I prepared a 2 molar solution from a 30 %wt H2O2 solution(Merck). I wan to calculate the radiation energy flux distribution(LVREA) in my reactor.Based on beer law, it is exponentialy related to the solution absorbance(q is proportional to exp(-a))). a is absorbance. The value of a is very high for 2 molar H2O2 solution, then the LVREA value is about zero. It means that there is no radation flux in my photoreactor! Is my calculation true?!!
