It seems that the main source of the problem in implementing the halal logistics are caused by the non-authorized Islamic authority in the respective countries that practice the halal supply chain. If that is the situation, then how do they cope with the problem? Currently, the halal supply chain practice come into great pictures with the coming of Japan Olympics and World Cup Soccer in Qatar in the coming years. Studies and practice to be done to exercise the halal supply chain that supply all the foods to those countries are now being conducted. Interestingly, how is the feedback from all the countries around the world, especially form middle east and Asia, to meet the demand.

Thank u Mushtaq. I already have all the halal logistics guidelines and other halal guidelines from Malaysian Standards (MS) documents. It's now for me to explore more on its efficacy how that the practice is done and received by the suppliers, customers and government agencies.

May be defining what is halal (since different people will have different interpretations), and looking at cold supply chain practices will help you.
Halal is everything that is done in accordance with the rules of religion, especially Islam. In Islam the basic values are honesty, and there is no fraud. For example Halal Logistic is a supply chain system that is effective and efficient, because there was no fraud on the number of goods, type of goods, weight and volume of the goods described in the manifest so that no one harmed.
There are two aspects of Halal logistics. One related to application of halal principles like separate carriers for halal and non halal like meat products. The other aspect which is difficult to implement is related to ethics. Halal logistics or halal supply chain requires good treatment of people involved in logistics, like working conditions, wages, job security etc.
