In case quantum dots were mixed in dielectric before deposition of layer in an OFET, what is the mehcanism of operation and how does carrier transport happen in dielectric layer ? and how does it differ from blending QD in the semiconducting layer instead?
any insight or relevant litereture could be helpful

the paper you recommended speaks of introducing a layer of quantum dots between the semiconductor and the dielectric.
since i also aim to study the device with light exposure, I'm searching for the effect of introducing photoactive quantum dots inside the bulk dielectric of the gate in an OFET(by mixing the QD in the dielectric material prio or during deposition).
