My doubt is like this, the WRF model is downscaling wind at 10m with respect to time. Now GFS data providing data at 10m, 80m, 100m etc. I need an explanation on how the model is computing Wind at 10m, In the similar fashion, I can do for 80m and 100m. This is very helpful for my study. For this, what is the procedure to make it work in WRFV3.
Please help me regarding this one.

Dear Sir,
I do not know what you mean with downscaling wind at 10m with respect to time. What I do know is that most models downscale wind and temperature to the level where standard WMO observations are performed, that is 10m for wind and 2m for temperature. And this downscaling always uses stability (temperature difference between model surface and first model level). In neutral stability this downscaling goes well, in very stable (unstable) conditions the downscaling is difficult and when possible it is better to use the direct model output at the first model level above the model surface.

I confirm the message from Wim. You need for that a bulk flux algorithm to reduce your quantity at a height of 2m or 10m. You can find such algoithm on the web for instance by using Fairall et al.'s code (easy to find). However you mention in your message that you want to compute variable at 80m or 100 m. Also pay attention to respect the hypotheses of the "constant flux layer" to use the Monin and Obukhov (1954) theory, i.e. don't use too elevated heights.
