I am remembering JC Bose by seeing your question. He was a biologist, physicist, and botanist. He too conducted interesting experiments and proved plants too show some impulse(s).
Rather than thinking/knowing/ or educating whether plants intelligent or not, it is impossible to survive without plants in this world. And it is everyone's duty to protect the plants and improve the greenery to survive and to avoid the environmental side effects.
Do you think separate school should establish!!! As per my knowledge I have been studying about plants from my elementary school classes onward.
Dear Jetty, very nice to hear from you again and thanks for the attached papers. As a matter of fact, I think not a separate school but a new school of thought is needed to confer plant blindness. I think if scientist can consider plants as an intelligent creature, then new approaches may be adapted to deal with plant biology issues. The fact that plants can learn and develop memory is very important I believe!
Of course, you are right Aida. In such case, first you need to start some motivation among people from your side regarding the importance of plants and their intelligence. That slowly receive momentum and expand then you can think about the school. Then Govt. also support you.
Wish You Good Luck,
Here one point, plants can develop, when you take sufficient care in the beginning, once they establish no need. For e.g. forest as people do not disturb them they happily develop and propagate among themselves.
