I recently read in a review article that oxalate is the most stable organic acid in calcareous soil which is due to the formation of ca-oxalate reducing its biodegradability. does this notion hold for other soils too? how does the stability of oxalate, citrate, and malate differ in various soils? which one has the shortest half-life ?
