I have a query regarding ANOVA. I applied one-way ANOVA to study the affect of genotypes on clinical and anthropometric data in a patient (T2D) and healthy control groups separately. Am I doing it in a right way or it is to be applied in pooled data (i.e.total cases and controls)? I ask this question because I tried to apply it in both ways, but when I pooled the data no significant result was obtained. However, in cases and controls separately few parameters are significant. Statistically which is the best way to apply ANOVA?
