Seek keywords salting out and Setschenow constant. The chemical potential of the gas in the gas phase is

muG = mu0 + RTln(KH*p)

KH - Henry's constant, mu0 - potential of a suitable standard state. The respective potential of the gas in the electrolyte solution is

muE= mu0 + RTlnCgas + kS*Cel

kS - Setschenow constant, Cel - electrolyte concentration. At equilibrium,

Cgas = KH*p*exp(-kS*Cel)

Normaly, kS is positive so less gas dissolve in electrolyte solution than in pure water (salting out of the gas they call it). kS depend both on the gas and on the electrolyte. Few gases are known that are in fact salted in. The phenomenon is related mainly to the effect of the gas on the dielectric constant of the solution. Check any electrolyte solution book for more info.

Thanks for your careful answer. Actually, I need some Henry's Constant values which may be applicable for CO2-Saline aquifer systems. The solution is highly concentrated with Na, Mg, Ca, Cl, CO3, SO4 ions.

The Dortmund Data Bank (www.ddbst.com) contains appr. 2500 data sets with gas solubilities in electrolyte Solutions.

You may refer to Shumpe et al. correlation for the 'salting out' effect in aqueous solutions, while the effect of organic solutes can be accounted for by Sechenov correlation.
