You need VBA.

1) data should be pressorted by the collumn where you normaly detect duplications.

2) then you need to organise a cycle:

Sub aaaa()

Worksheets.Select

n = 2 '(or 2 if your table has title)

For x = 1 To 100

x = Sheets(1).Cells(n, 1).Value

If x = Sheets(1).Cells(n + 1, 1).Value Then

Rows(n + 1).Delete

Else

n = n + 1

End If

Next x

End Sub

If you need to detect duplicates matching several cells simultaneously then try merging formula cell z1:"=a1&b1&c1". After organizing merged cells check duplicates by the column of this cells and than remove duplicates.

Be carefull. Please save you workbook before using, since it may delete your data in Excel.

I have not understand the criteria for erasing data.

Do you  want erase 1 row when all value of the row are equal to another row?

Or do you want erase row when not all column data is filled?

may you explain   in a matrix 4 rows x 4 colums?

Example

       A      B       C    D

1   a        2      2      2

2  ax       2             2                       

3  bx      2             2                        

4  a        2      2      2                                   

erase row 1 and/xor 4 because they are the same thing ?

erase row 2 and/xor 3 because they have colums B,C,D equal ?

erase row 2  and 3 because they have C colum without a value?

Another way you could do this is using CONCATENATE.  CONCATENATE the columns, separating everything with a space in case you have a bunch of numbers that could cause problems.  Then use the advanced filter to remove duplicates.  From here, VLOOKUP can return the original column data, and you have the original columns with no duplicates.  If you need an example of this, I can work with a file for you.

I teach courses in Microsoft Excel, so I do have a fair amount of experience with this sort of stuff.  I have done analysis on massive data sets (Equine Injury Database, containing 450K rows and 100+ columns), so I fully understand your plight.
