I have tried to dip copper mash on the surface of the gel as indicated by some articles. But it was to thick to observe my material. how can i cope with that? THX
It depends on the material of the gel and the structure that you want to observe. If the gel is uniform amorphous, even if you can prepare the specimen, you can observe no meaningful structure.
The organogel was made up of polyester which contains poly(βbernyl L-glutamate) on the side chains. Similar structure could form nanofiber in literature. And even if it is diluted to 0.5% w/v, it still forms gel.
