Thank you very much for your reply. I have tried using a manual calibration curve with 0.1,0.2,0.5,1,1.5 ppm values. There was no clear difference between the lower concentrations (0.1,0.2,0.5 ppm) however over 1 ppm the results were promising with only about 10% standard deviation. Indeed, at 1.5 ppm, the standard deviation fell to 5%. 5ppm checks are recommended as well, but I have obtained quite accurate results (4.96 ppm) and the NPOC results still looked out of the expected range.
Regarding the GAC work, I am filtering the supernatant through 0.45um, but I think I will filter through 0.22 um in the future.
