I am facing similar issues of boundary cells showing irregular, degraded movements, while solving a fluid-structure coupling problem. I just came across this post of yours. I was wondering if you found some way to tackle this issue?

Shakti , I found out that what causes the mesh to degrade is if surface boundary mesh have a bad quality . After increasing quality of the boundary surface meshes that no more issues are encountered for the volume mesh.
