We are trying to adsorb water into porous materials (Zeolite like, 25 Angstrom). Our plan is to put this porous material , which is in form of powder in a chamber and evacuate it to ~10^-2 Torr. Then leak water vapor into the chamber, through a needle valve. So the question is how do we get this water vapor. Are there standard research grade steam cylinders? Or do we heat the water and then connect it to our chamber via a needle valve?

We are trying to do a really controlled experiments. The idea is to grow/condense, at one time, monolayers of water on the pore boundaries.
