I have been reading journals today that hinge on methodological experience. I find that many authors use these two terms differently. I look forward to reading the words as we tease out the specifics of what is framework, contextual, and which leads us to technique?

methodology is the logic behind methods executed. Scientific precess or ehy behind every method used.
if observation method is used then anecdotes and time sampling are the techniques and over all process is research methodology. Hope it helps

I agree and would use them in a similar fashion - it came up in a journal article using action research and the Delphi method. I would categorize action research the methodology and Delphi the method of data collection in this instance - the author was not so clear - made me want to ask my peers.
