I want to apply pretensioned force in one of my element in the model. So suggest me how do we do that?
I think in general, in the input deck it would be done with
*INITIAL CONDITION, TYPE=STRESS
(see manual for element- and material-point-wise input)
or with SIGINI subroutine, which is activated by
*INITIAL CONDITION, TYPE=STRESS, USER
in the input deck.
There are also dedicated options pertaining to pretension / bolt loads associated with `connector elements' in particular.
