Time management is one of the most crucial issues to be tackled by almost all researchers. There are too many distractions. There is hardly any time for home and life, especially for academics as they all have libraries at home. Teacher-researchers are still more hard-pressed to find time for research. Internet takes its toll too; it has its dark side as well. Once you start Google-searching some answer you come across so many things that are remotely of your interest, but there are temptations to explore those issues as well. A lot of time gets spent or wasted on those issues. RG site itself is a big attraction, but is extremely time-consuming. I am still searching ways to utilize my limited time effectively. I would love to hear the techniques you use in ensuring a more efficacious use of time.
