The system is basically three inductors connected to each other in one end and the other end connected to three independent voltage sources (See attached image).
I want to get the equations in state space form. For this I need to eliminate the intermediary variable VT (See attached image).
I cant figure out how to proceed from here.
i1=i2+i3, because no current leaks out the node (Remember Kirchoff?)

From Kirchoff we get i1=i2+i3
Does this mean I can eliminate i1?
so in place of i1 I substitute (i2+i3)
in the differential equations (as below).
Is this still valid?
I am unsure because I feel by doing this we are losing the "state" i1. And in control theory I remember learning that we need a differential equation for each state in the system and i1 is a state.
