Hi! I think you made some modeling mistake. You should create a product system using 1 t of pig iron as an output and let openLCA find the necessary inputs for you. You can do this: select and double click to the pig iron process. On the General information tab click on "Create product System". Make sure to tick "auto link processes" and then click Finish
If the question is still relevant, the answer may be that it is not a production but a market process. This process is orignate from ecoinvent database? If yes, than this activity starts at the gate of the activities that produce 'coke', within the geography of Global. This activity ends with the supply of 'coke', to the consumers of this product. Transport is included. This process does not include any manufacturing.

Li Tao Sorry, I misunderstood the question earlier. In this case, perhaps the same procedure could be applied what is used for the exchange of biogenic carbon to carbon dioxide. In this calculation, the amount of carbon can be multiplied with 3.67 (44/12) to get the potential amount of CO2. I think it can be applied in the case of coke as well. Maybe this could be further specified by the efficiency of burning of coke. But this might have to be done manually.
