I am trying to test for linearity with my 1 iv and 3 dv. I go to Analyze>regression>linear , but in the dependent box you can only put 1 dv. I am very new to spss and am not sure what to do here. Does perhaps the iv go in the dependent box and the dv's go in the independent box?

Start simply. In spss, you could use: Graphs/Regression variable plots, then put the 3 DV as one dimension and the lone IV as the other. Under options, check the box for "Linear" under Scatterplot fit lines. That will give you three separate scatterplots, with fitted regression line, and marginal distributions displayed as box and whisker plots.

Thank you so much for your answer. Would you be able to tell me how to do that on spss? I could not find it under Analyze>Regression>Linear is it?
