In my research of synthesizing and observing the differences in properties of gold nanoclusters prepared by different protocols, I am stuck at a point.
Using the protocol mentioned by T. Groegory Schaaff (paper attached) I successfully obtained black powder. But diluted solution of this powder doesn't show any emission when exposed to long UV light which is not the case in BSA protected gold nanocluster which show a bright orange luminescence under long UV.
Can anyone tell me or show me an image of glutathione stablized GNCs under UV light like we get for BSA-GNC under UV light.
You can refer to some works of Rongchao Jin or Jianping Xie's groups. There are some papers about the synthesis of luminescent GSH protected goldnanoclusters.
