Hi I am really struggling with the statistical element of my research.

I need to statistically analyse the significance of the use of an inhibitor on bacteria growth.

I have taken OD reading at 600nm every hour for 10 hours with a control of my bacteria in LB and then again but with an inhibitor in LB.

I have triplicate measures of each (spanning 10 hours, 30 measurements for with inhibitor and 30 without) and have calculated a mean for each hour and then plotted a graph with the mean values. with OD on the Y axis and hours in the X axis.

The data of course if not normally distributed and shows a usual bacterial growth curve.

Because of this I was thinking of using an ANOVA test but I am really struggling as I am not sure.

I have kept the drug concentration the same in the culture so that has not changed, but I have measured the growth over the 10 hours.

So the only things that has changed is the growth in an inhibitor and without and time .

ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AS IT IS A RACE AGAINST TIME :)
