For Example its for cogen plant , its need to give steam for process(8ata,240) and it have to generate power for 8MW whats ur choice i will gove with 64/510 or 105/535..
Since it is a cogen plant, the steam turbine selection to matach 8MW has to be selected with the steam inlet conditions, flow, temperature and pressure. The steam outlet conditions shall be matched with the process steam conditions i,e 8 ata and 240 deg C. The steam flow requirement is not given by you. That should be matched with the steam inlet parameter of the steam turbine. Finally, optimisation of the cycles need to be done ie, auxiliary energy requirements for feed pumps and pressure losses in the steam/water circuit. The best performance shall be considered in your selection.
