How do I replace a lousy upload with a good one without deleting the whole publication first, and then adding it manually?

I had placed a scanned copy of one of my papers for down-loading on ResearchGate. This scan was not good. Now I want to put a better one in its place, but there do not seem to be any utilities for doing so. I tried removing the whole publication, enter it manually, and then put the better scan in. This does not seem to be a good solution. Does anyone know anything better? Many thanks.
