Actually RVE is used to design for symmetry. But I want to change the distance between fibres for analysis. Will you please help me
Dear Mr Narasimha,
Could you please explain in more detail what do you mean with "mesh between matrix and fibbre".
Regards.
Beam is of rectangular cross section 250 * 20* 2 mm. in this i want to embedd the 0.1 mm fibre along the direction of length.
when i am meshing, saying shape warning limits leads to poor results.
when the reinforcing fibre is of very small in dia , meshing wil be the problem, because of very small element sizes.
please give any suggestions, to overcome these problem
Transition elements or interface elements between the matrix and the fibre is recommended. Any way, there is a modifed zone isn't it ?
It should have high thermal fatigue resistance and wear resistance.
