Shadia Tewfik If it is pure dextran solution then can measure the solution volume and then freeze-dry the solution to obtain the solid dextran. The amount of dextran obtained and the solution kept for freeze-drying can calculate the concentration. But, since it's a polymer, the volume of the solution would be slightly higher.
