I am conducting research on a novel adsorbent prepared from palm oil waste but stuck at two points and need your valuable suggestion/advice:
“Fluoride concentration in groundwater varies through different seasons. With my proposed method (Adsorption), how do I make sure that the method is able to apply in a country that has a variation of climates (cold and warm seasons)? In addition, how the method could be maintained to operate over a long-term period? “
In typical experiments, you should make different trials with different F concentrations, different adsorbent weights , different times and temperatures, so the variation your are talking about should be covered in your set of experiments covering the different variables.

Well try a batch method for a kinetic run at a particular temperature of an average typical warm weather. Then repeat the experiment at a temperature for a typical cool weather. By modeling with either pseudo first or second order kinetics it will provide you with the rate of adsorption as well as the capacity of the adsorbent for a particular adsorbate at a particular temperature.
