Hello everyone,

I am about to perform a turbidimetric assay of Tyrothricin and for the purpose of the assay I need to make equal concentrations of standard solution (Gramicidin) which is 1081 IU/mg and test product which contains 0.1mg/g of Tyrothricin (0.1mg in 988.9g of Glycerine).

In order to find help with unit conversion I glansed at one online unit converter (http://www.etoolsage.com/converter/) which says that 1081 IU of Gramicidin equals 1081 mcg but that did not help me very much with my unit transformations and calculations.

Can anyone assist me on how to dilute Gramicidin solution in order to get equal concentration as Tyrothricin, in same units?
