i need to limit node transmission range in ns2.34. any detail tutorial to do this ? i mean which part of file i have to change ? and which file ?
for now, i can limit transmission range but it can't transmit the data (even the receiver node in sender's range)

RXThresh
Make sure the second node is in the transmission range and not in the sensing range. Sometime they are not the same in the simulator.

You need to consider the THREE parameters CPThresh, CSThresh, and RXThresh.
To compute these parameters, you need to compile and execute the utility program called threshold, take a look at ns2.34\indep-utils\propagation
