I am new to this and I seem to need it for my job. Unfortunately, nobody else in the group uses it. But the instructions on how to install it seem very confusing. I am also new to Mac so it is hard for me to even guess what I am doing wrong. Is there anybody who could guide me through the installation?
Given you probably are new to unix like systems, I would suggest to try and install your software on a Linux machine. That way you have access to a bigger user community for support. Anything with a graphic interface kind of spells trouble on a Mac unless you REALLY know what you are doing, as it uses proprietary software. As suggested by Mr P. Contreras , try first to install Lapack/BLAS- it is a learning experience. If that is a major problem, then probably the rest of it is moot.
