Hey! I am working on a flow analysis over a 2D airfoil.. I simulated the situation at different angles of attack, put it at 400 interations and everything works well in programme, although after when I check the video of it in a file, it has a very poor quality, I cannot even read the scale... Does anyone know how to improve the quality of a video? Thank you
I recommend for high quality video from Fluent simulations (and of course ANSYS CFX simulations as well ;-)) ) to use ANSYS CFD-Post. Store a series of CAS/DAT files. Open the last DAT file in CFD-Post and generate the animation with highest possible video quality settings. For good video quality you should process 25 DAT files for each intended second of your movie.
Another possibility would be to generate high res images from fluent via TUI command (Simple Execite every x iteration under caluclation activites) and make a Video from all images. You can do this for example with Avidemux (jpeg avi) and compress the video afterwards with XMedia Recode. Or you can use ffmpeg for both of course , if you familiar with command line applications. If you want to use CFD Post and you are limited in drive space you can reduce the variables which are saved to your .dat files of course.
