Hi,
To be able to Measure the Total Carbohydrate on my sample, I was planning on using the Total Carbohydrate Assay Kit (Sigma Cat#MAK104). The problem is that it includes a step in which I have to incubate the 96 well plate at 90 degree Celsius for 15min, after adding sulfuric acid.
How can I do this? I cannot use a water bath or Incubator.

The heat is necessary for the reaction to occur. I typically seal the plate and place it on a heatplate in the chemistry lab. Alternatively, do you have a heat block for annealing DNA? Works the same way. Make sure the plastics tolerate the heat first. Good luck.
Thank you for your answer. Do you know which type of plates tolerate this heat? Polypropylene? Polystyrene?

PP is better, melts at roughly 160°C. PS is transitioning in to pseudoglass state at 100°C.
