I'm trying to fashion a 1 nm piece of film and use it to separate two opposing pieces of copper plate so they are a nm apart. Any suggestions on how this could be done?
Try adding tags "self-assembled monolayer, monolayer, vapor deposition, conjugation". This came up in my feed, lol
If the "nm" is no typo, this will become tricky. You are talking about 6-8 atomic layers.
AND this is most likely much less than the surface roughness of your copper plates.
Wish you success and keep us informed!
