Mostafa Safaie Reyneh, VIIRS available since 30 November 2016 - Present, may be your best option. The VIIRS Nighttime Imagery (Day/Night Band, Enhanced Near Constant Contrast) layer is available from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar orbiting Partnership (SNPP) satellite. The sensor resolution is 750 m at nadir, imagery resolution is 500 m, and the temporal resolution is daily.
Occasionally, Landsat 8 also acquires night time satellite images. But the coverage is limited.
There is several satellites that have higher resolution but they are comertial. For public data, you can acces the VIIRS, ISS, and Luojia 1A Satellites. The only one in color are the ISS ones. The reference links for thio ones are:
Only the VIIRS are fully calibrated, the Luojai 1A there is a preliminary calibration, ISS are the RAW files, but if your proyect is interesting enough, might be that the Cities at Night project(us) calibrate the images for you. If not, there is a company www.noktosat.com that can do it for you.
