In order to estimating the marine sediment porosity, you should collect sample by coring and coated that by paraphine for Lab examination. Then you can core cleaning process. After core cleaning, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy methods can be used to determine porosity on small core samples.

X-Ray computerizing Tomography is another method for estimating marine sediment porosity.
