I am having Siemens 313-c2-DP PLC and I want to establish communication between PLC and suitable OPC server. The problem is that this PLC supports profibus and MPI communication protocols only. Since, I don't have the appropriate resources for profibus, I would like to establish communication through MPI USB cable. So, can you provide the name of the OPC servers which can communicate with the S7-300 series PLC over MPI USB protocol (except IBH server)? Thank you.

Thanks for your generous reply. I had to transfer on VIPA 315-sb PLC as it was available with me and it turned out it has Ethernet card CP343 in it. It has been configured as Siemens 318-2 DP PLC with CP343 card (as this particular PLC is compatible with Siemens 318-2 DP PLC). However, I came to know that Ethernet is only for PG/OP communication rather than PG/PC communication. So, I am wondering that whether it can be used with OPC server or is there any restriction? Awaiting your reply.

Hello , you need Prodave MPI software (by Siemens) because the OPC Server (by National Instruments) only supports the S7-1200 PLC.
@Martin There are various OPC servers beside NI OPC server and they do support S7-200,300,400 and 1200 series as well. @Peter Thanks for the input. I have solved the problem with KepWare OPC.
Thanks everyone for your input. I have transferred my work on VIPA 315-2 SB PLC with CP343-1 lean ethernet module. I am using Kepware version 5 and it is working perfectly fine.
