You will get detailed information about how to calculate the total required fly wheel mass, and then by using suitable material in manufacturing that fly wheel (almost cast iron), it will be so easy to find out the overall dimensions. the dimension of fly wheel depend on the coast down time. this time also depend on the inertia of flywheel.therfore according with inertia the dimension of flywheel could be defined.
