I have SP, Gamma and Resistivity (both lateral and N16-N64) logs along with Electrical Conductivity value of the water sample of the area (collected through tube well). I have calculated the lateral resistivity (Rt) for each depth. I am getting Silt, clay and sand lithologies in the borehole. I would like to determine the Formation Resistivity Factor (F), Porosity, hydraulic conductivity and permeability value correctly. Kindly help me with step wise procedures.
NOTE: Archie constant a & m varies for different lithologies like silt, clay and sand.

Ashok, Everything but the hydraulic conductivity can be routinely derived from well logs.Using SP will (depending on the circumstances) give you Rw, shakiness and permeability (qualitative). GR will give you shaliness (simplistic, but it works). Resistivity will give you water saturation, and CAN be used to backwards derive porosity. But you're really missing some proper porosity logs, such as acoustic, density and neutron. These are really necessary if your results are going to make sense. Specifically also if your lithologies are not clear or are varied. There are a number of good books on the market, but you can also go to Crain's (https://www.spec2000.net/00-index.htm) for an explanation of the basic relationships. I like using Malcom Ryder's book (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1050830.The_Geological_Interpretation_Of_Well_Logs). For hydraulic connectivity you need to have a bit more, and the geological modeling is crucial. Interference testing will then also help, but this is a significant upgrade to just looking at a well log.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, indeed, it would be better if I have other logs. I will have to utilize my Resistivity and Gamma log (since SP is not showing major variation) in a manner so that I can extract maximum geological information. I have also collected sediment samples from the boreholes. I have to correlate the physical properties of sediments with the information derived from Gamma and Resistivity logs. I will definitely read the book suggested by you.
