Hello! I want to ask for your help with the a priori power analysis to calculate my required sample size. So far, I'm familiar with the G*Power program. However, in my research, I will be testing several hypotheses using different methods. I'm planning to conduct an ANCOVA, a MANCOVA, and two binary logistic regressions to investigate my research questions. How do I proceed a priori to determine the sample size I need? Which of the methods should I use? Or do I calculate the a priori analysis for all methods and then base my decision on the largest one? Do I also report all a priori analyses? Unfortunately, I haven't found any clear information on how to proceed a priori when working with multiple types of hypothesis tests in a paper. Does anyone have any suggestions or perhaps sources, or simply advice on the best way to proceed? In most of the articles I read, the power analysis for sample size calculation was either not reported at all or only used one test procedure. I appreciate any feedback! Thank you in advance to everyone who takes the time to respond. :)
