Since I have expertise only in MATLAB and not the rest of the software could you elaborate it a bit more. Can your problem represented mathematically or you want to use other visualization techniques like image toolbox? If you have a function give us a clue.

as I understand you need just 3D data matrix filled with "lines" which are equidistant in few layers. Similarly to photonic crystal typically maid of layers of crossed lines.

Actually there is a simple way to create such a structures in Matlab. You need one line element including surrounding space (like crystal single translation element). Next you add (not sum) existing matrix to itself as much as you need. The result is layer.  Preferably you get square matrix. Later you can make rotated copy for the crossed elements. Stack layers increasing  third dimensional index.

In AutoCAD you can create a script and apply it for each entity you want to create.

AutoCAD will read it and create the entity you want with parameters you specified.
