Hi, I am trying to convert Siemens/cm^2 to cm/sec. In order to compare GHK equation for permeability to HH equation for conductivity.
Thank you all.
The siemens (symbol: S) is the derived unit of electric conductance. 1S= 1 kg^−1⋅m^−2⋅s^3⋅A^2.
I don't think you can covert Siemens/cm^2 to cm/sec.
Hi Oron David Kotler ,
I think you may be able to convert it by taking diffusivity coefficient (cm2/s) and thickness (cm) into account. I hope it makes sense in your case!

dear sir
Siemens/cm^2 to cm/sec, conversion not possible
the SI unit of conductance, equal to one reciprocal ohm.
A siemens is a unit of electric conductance equal to the conductance between two points of a conductor having a resistance of 1 watt.
Conductance per sq cm cant be equal to cm/sec ,
Conductance per area cant be equal to displacement
