I am working on corrosion rates of brass exposed to biodiesel-diesel blends.

I was able to get the following relations:

1. Values of Corrosion rates of brass in biodiesel/diesel with

(a) increasing total acid number at 960 hours;

(b) increasing kinematic viscosity at 960 hours;

(c) increasing density at 960 hours.

I have the following challenges:

(i) How can i describe new hypothesis as highlighted in steps (a)-(c) or otherwise.

(ii) How can I formulate a correllation rate between corrosion rates and other properties of the fuels (besides its composition)

(iii) How can I present rate of corrosion in such a manner that will facilitate extrapolation to relevant conditions;

(iv) How can I do additional experiment toextract apparent activation barrier for the process;

(v) Can i adopt a constitutive relation(say a power law) in order to relate corrosion rates with the composition of the fuel

I sincerely welcome researchers material/articles to validate my results.

Please, kindly assist.

I came in contact with an article in Chinese language but I don't understand Chinese nor able to get the full paper entitled, " Wu ZhenFen; Su YouYong; Wang Hua; Chen Fei .Corrosion characteristics and kinetics of copper in biodiesel. China Oils and Fats 2014 Vol.39 No.2 pp.67-70 ref.6

I am looking forward for your suggestions.

Abstract of the article in Chinese version I came in contact with:

The corrosion characteristics and kinetics of copper in mixture of Jatropha curcas L. seed oil biodiesel and diesel were studied by weight loss method at temperatures between room temperature and 90°C. The corresponding model of corrosion kinetics was established. The results showed that the corrosion rate of copper increased with the concentration of biodiesel in mixture increasing and temperature rising. The corrosion regulation followed Mathur empirical formula, the relationship between corrosion rate constant and temperature accorded with Arrhenius equation, and corrosion kinetics equation was v=ke(-3×10-5T2+0.019 6T-2.478 4)c with 7.40 kJ/mol of the activation energy of the corrosion reaction and 0.695 6 of frequency factor. The corrosion kinetics model of copper in biodiesel provided a theoretical basis for expanding the experiment and anti-corrosion in biodies

Can someone assist me with published corrosion rates o metals/ or...l kinetics data to test my proposed biodiesel rate equation?I  I needed to test the proposed rate equation with available published data from literature Values
